The eosinophils have returned.
Deep breath in…. deep breath out…
I’m so, so disappointed.
I thought that I finally figured it out.
I thought that he was doing well.
I was convinced that this test result was going to end with smiles and happiness.
Instead, it ends with tears, frustration, disappointment, and disbelief.
What else can I possibly take out of my son’s diet?
What will he have left to eat?
I’m so sick of this disease.
My son has a fairly long list of food allergies but he has also been avoiding carrot, banana, barley, pork, and wheat in hopes to find his EoE trigger.

Noooooooooooooooooooo! This brought tears to my eyes. How disappointing. Your son is one of the most luckiest boys on earth to have you as his mom. Your dedication to his education, quality of life and health is simply amazing.
I'm soooo very sad for your today. Sending lots of love from Reno!

I'm so sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to you. It's such a tough mix of frustration and sadness when you get a test result like this that you didn't expect. Even though it's one step back, you will move forward again. It's just going to take a little longer than you originally thought. We're going to get to the bottom of these crazy diseases and I believe it will be sooner rather than later. Sending many, many good wishes your way.

Oh sweetie, I know exactly how this feels. Been here for three years now. Keep that beautiful chin up and know you aren't alone. We got our results too, still really high count. If necessary Elecare or Neocate can be added as a supplement to smoothies and stuff and that will really help boost nutrients and cals. We did that for Maya for a while before she went full elemental. Sending love and hugs your way.

I'm so sorry to hear this, my friend. I felt the same way when our now 16 year old was little and didn't get foods back into her diet as quickly as we had hope. But a few things really helped keep my head in the right space. She was "still the same kid" as before, happy, relatively healthy, and let it roll off of her. They grow up and they do change. HUGS
