Sounds interesting, right?
Cakies are ready to eat in under 30 minutes and can be made in so many different flavor combinations. Today I made Chocolate Cherry Cakies using chocolate cake mix and cherry pie filling. Some other great combinations would be:
-
Lemon and Blueberry
-
Spice and Apples
-
Vanilla and Peach
-
Vanilla Chocolate Chip and Cherries
-
Chocolate and Strawberry
The flavor combinations are endless… I’m sure this would also work great with a gluten-free cake mix, but I haven’t tried it yet. Please be sure to tell me what combinations you try!! **UPDATE** One of my readers tried this recipe using cinnamon apple pie filling, Gluten Free Hodgson Mill cake mix, and apple sauce instead of eggs and she said they came out fantastic and her kids LOVED them! 🙂
