Over the past eight years we’ve used a lot of different cases for our EpiPens. The EpiPen Case we’re going to talk about today is completely different than the others that we’ve used though.
The NefCase is made of a hard durable plastic, similar to that of a Nalgene bottle, but even thicker. The special screw top lid is child resistant very much like a Tylenol cap. This helps protect the epinephrine auto-injector from being handled by young children.
I love the attached clip which makes it very easy to attach to belt buckles, purse straps, back packs, and almost anything else you can think of.
The NefCase is also waterproof! I tested it myself by submerging it under water. It passed with flying colors and remained completely dry.
I brought our NefCase on vacation with us. It went to the beach, in the sand, in the ocean, and to the pool without any issues.
The NefCase is very reasonably priced at less than $15.00! I’d love it if they would offer a discount (hint, hint) when purchasing two cases since we all know that we ALWAYS need to carry at least two epinephrine auto-injectors!
This case is perfect for those who have young children at home. It is a bit bulky, especially if you’re carrying two, however it’ll easily clip to the outside of a bag for easy carrying.
