Hi! I’m Elizabeth the writer and creator of EBL Food Allergies.About EBL
I started my blog back in 2011 and honestly didn’t think anyone would read it. I didn’t know a thing about websites, photography, or conferences and my grammar was horrendous. What I did know was that I wanted to help others feed their children. I knew how hard it was to learn how to cook with diet restrictions and I wanted a way to share all of that info with anyone and everyone who could benefit from it, which is how EBL Food Allergies was born (back then it was called Easy Breezy Food Allergies).
My family and I live about 40 minutes north of Boston. We LOVE the outdoors and spend most of our time hiking, biking, and camping (when we’re not at the ice rink for hockey)!
I cook a lot of items from scratch using many of my own recipes and I really enjoy sharing them with all with you. It puts a huge smile on my face when I hear from my readers telling me how much their child enjoyed one of my recipes!
I’m also very passionate about educating others about epinephrine use. My little guy has had two anaphylactic reactions and I like to think that sharing our experiences (his latest reaction story here) helps others better understand the severity of food allergies. Educating my son about his allergies is top on my priority list. Every family, every child, and everyone’s food allergies are different but I share all of my tips and tricks (like this) and personal beliefs on raising children with severe food allergies. My number one goal? Raising my boys to become respectful, kind, healthy, and well educated men without going crazy in the process. 🙂
Follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!
Happy reading!
