Ho Ho Ho! This holiday season I partnered with some other amazing food allergy bloggers to give you the best of the best holiday cookie exchange!
This cookie exchange was organized a bit differently than ones I’ve participated in the past. Six bloggers shared six recipes with each other and we baked and took photos of someone else’s recipe to share with you! It was a little nerve wracking knowing another blogger was going to cook my recipe! Yikes! But I think Amanda of Everyday Allergen Free did a much better job photographing my recipe than I did! She’ll have to share her tips with me! 🙂
Allergy-Friendly Cookie Exchange Recipes
Recipes include:
Spiced SunButter Cookies by Everyday Allergen Free
Kalter Hund by Allergy Girl Eats
Orange Blossom Coconut Macaroons by My Berkeley Kitchen
The $250 Neiman Marcus Cookies by Nut Free Wok
Glazed Lemon Cookies by EBL Food Allergies
Maple Oat Chocolate Chunk Cookies by Top 8 Free Eats
Dairy Free Glazed Lemon Cookies
I entered my Dairy Free Glazed Lemon Cookies into the exchange. It’s a great recipe (free of dairy, egg, nuts and soy) to make for the holidays because it’s citrusy and light opposed to the more traditional holiday cookies. Different is good, right?
Maple Oat Chocolate Chunk Cookies
In exchange, I had the opportunity to make the Maple Oat Chocolate Chunk Cookies! They are soft, delicious, top8free, gluten free, vegan and contain an ingredient I had NEVER used before in cookies! I urge you to head on over to Top 8 Free Eats to check out this recipe!
Lastly, a huge thank you to Kortney of Allergy Girl Eats for organizing this fun holiday cookie exchange. If you haven’t already, I suggest heading to her site and checking out the Kalter Hund recipe that she submitted. I had never before heard of it, but I can’t wait to make it after reading the recipe. 🙂
Happy Holidays!
